video-conference

Video-conference is a great way to conduct training sessions, especially given the current high cost of travel. Video-conference sessions utilize video-conferencing solutions and allow participants to see and hear the instructor throughout the live session. These are ideal for any topic, including customized topics, such as agency-specific NEPA issues. Video conference sessions can be from 1 to 3 hours and can be a one-time event or multiple events over a period of weeks/months.

Recent Video-Conference solution: An international organization with locations in several countries hired EIT to provide a blended learning solution that utilized video-conferencing and the Training CDs. This training program was set up to last for 6 weeks. Each week, the Environmental professionals would watch a module from a Training CD course, which was then followed by a video-conference session with Dr. Canter to answer questions about the Training CDs and to how to apply it to specific examples they were faced with. The program was very successful and discussions are taking place to extend this to other locations.
